Hearts and Pines Tablesetting

This set of dishes is perfect for Christmas and all thru the winter until Valentine's Day.
It's called Hearts & Pines
Red hearts and berries with green pine needles.
It's  porcelain by Porsgrund of Norway.
Tea pot, lidded sugar and creamer.

I added cranberries to the pillar candle and strung the wreath with red fabric hearts.
multisided cup and saucer
Under a cloche surrounded by fabric hearts.
These  mini dotted handmade fabric hearts are great to use with the dishes at Christmas time and also onValentine's Day.
Snowball cookies for tea.
This little bell is very special to me. When I was a child, my mother gave it to me to use when I was sick in bed. I would ring it if I needed her. I put a little festive bow on it for Christmas.
ring...ring...ring...

O Holy Night

We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

Christmas Pinecones

In Kim's entry I added a simple stair treatment with large pinecones. I found these (again) at a Florida road stop on our trip to Texas.
 One on each edge.
Pinecones....love 'em! Even Kim said that it wouldn't be Christmas without pinecones!
I added a small votive candle to each ledge.
Candles and Pinecones both Christmas must-haves.
The entry table. In the mirror you can see a reflection of Michael and Kristina as little children from a Christmas past.
Cheers!

Kim's Tree

In the family room.
The Christmas tree is in the family room.
View into the kitchen.
Coffee table.
My favorite ornament. A crystal snowflake.
The bar counter.
View into family room.
The fireplace is on every night.
Kim has  had this oil painting for many years and it's still a favorite of mine.
 Christmas angels on the mantle.
One on each side.
Kristina's stocking since she was a little girl. She's now a senior in high school.
Michael's  childhood stocking. He got back from Iraq in June.
All together for Christmas!
even the doggies!
Cheers!
